Weekend Update: Columbus Duathlon, Bar Harbor Half Marathon, BFF Pink Ribbon Double Bling, Hellhole Gravel Grind

It was an exciting weekend for Team AMEC! Jennifer completed her first ever multi-sport even at the Columbus Duathlon. She did awesome and I am sure she is hooked.  Her next plan is to find a late fall half marathon.

Speaking of half marathons… The Voyles ladies (from left to right: Lauren, Kim, and Kelsey) raced the Bar Harbor Half Marathon in Maine.  They love to race together and all did well.  The sisters are planning to Swim across Charleston in a few weeks and finish up the season at Austin 70.3.

Also, Elizabeth had a great Saturday by racing a 5k and then a 10k an hour after at the BFF Pink Ribbon Double Bling.  She’s also prepping for a half marathon in a few weeks in Myrtle Beach.

I was super excited that Melissa registered for the Hellhole Gravel Grind after the Kiawah Triathlon was postponed.  She did the 45 mile distance this year and I think she had a blast! Next year she is up for the 75.  I already put that on her calendar.

As always, great work ladies!
